What the Paper Says: White Paper Critique
Summary
The white paper clearly outlines the fact that digital transformation is imperative. Various businesses ought to undergo digital transformation. Hewlett-Packard Enterprises and Red hat partnerships have reduced the cost and duration of digital transformation. Information technology is vital since it focuses on business's aspirations and provides all facilitation and expertise to meet the aspirations (Berman, 2012).
Quality of Research
The research objective is clearly stated and is of vital importance. Enterprises are continually growing financially and in size and thus require IT expertise to improve them. The work is original and only has two citations which can be proved clearly. The background research is clear and relevant to the topic since the white paper gives an example of how DreamWorks Animation SKG applied the digital transformation. The proposed research (hp and redhat, na) on analyzing social media reactions from movie-goers may not be ethical.
Research Methodology
The research of the white paper was conducted through background reading of enterprises that used digital transformation to improve operations. DreamWorks Animation SKG and PriceWaterhouseCoopers both used it. The former enterprise's success proved that analysis was correctly done since all its issues were resolved; it started displaying two to three movies per year. This point supports the conclusion that the duration of digital transformation has been reduced.
Findings and Discussion
The paper is logically presented since the audience is influenced by considering the purchase of Red hat and HPE products. The data does support the research question and links back to the research question since it gives information on Red hat; it covers the majority of market share in the distribution of Linux and works closely with Hewlett-Packard to service their hardware; this ensures smooth digital transformation.
Additional Notes
Digital transformation has its shortcomings; for instance, when some organizations implemented it, they noticed that improvements were noticeable but not maintained (McKinsey & Company, 2018). Some enterprises subject to digital transformation since their customers adamantly requested this (Tiersky, 2017).
